The replacement medals I put in for back in Jan. finally arrived today. I guess anything free now days is well worth waiting for. I also only got the Campaign ribbon, no medal like you Joe. Any way I am thankful for getting some things long lost. Hope all Bravecannon Brothers are doing good and are enjoying life !!

Looking for any one who was a member of the 1/92 FA Bn that Gyroed to Bad Kissing Germany from FT. Sill in 1957. At that time the weapon was the M44 155mmSP. Gyroed back to Ft. Bragg in 1959.

One Novemember,'68 night at DuCo, we were trying out our B Battery night scope.We observed helicoptors. Checked w/Battalion.Not ours. We fired a 155 at them. Never heard anymore about it.

I served with some of you fine people up on Fire Base Kate. Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking with Reg Brockwell who is doing an article about the seige of Kate. It brought back some fond memories of you men. One person I would love to find is a man by the name of Houghtalling from the Poughkeepsie area of NY. If anyone ever comes across anyone that knows his whereabouts, please let me know. God bless.

For Joe Trentacosta... Joe, I also put in for awards replacement at the National Personnel Records Center. They told me that the awards I wanted were also out of stock and would need to wait. Well that was Jan. 22, 2007. So I can only imagine how long the wait will be. As to the HD, There must be some place else to contact about that. I have a friend kinda high up the VA ladder I'll ask him. Good luck. At least you know your're not waiting alone.

Trying to find out if my Dad was a member of the 92nd. He was Lt. Raymond F. Oldsen during WWII. I am not sure if he went into Normandy at Omaha or Utah but think it was Omaha. Dad passed away in January and I am looking for any info I can find.

It was VERY interesting to see Bill Conger's photos of Artillery taken on his recent trip.
....IF anyone is interested in another account of recent Vietnam, there is an interesting novel "Up Country" by Nelson Demille that portrays Vietnam as it was in 1997 when Mr. Demille returned to visit...29 years after he was in Vietnam with the 1st Air Cavalry Division.
