I was with 5/22 Arty. We had a forward CP at PoleiKleng 3/68-6/68. I recorded fire missions the morning of 15 or 16 May 2025 at 0300hrs. I believe 1/92 was firing.(May have been call sign Target 43) The tape can be heard: http://1-14th.com/MemSteveSiposTape.html It is on the 1-14th.com web sight and can also be located by scrolling down under the new postings. Would like to hear from anyone that may recognize the transmissions.

There is a link on the home page where you can send an e-mail in support of our troops. Take a couple of minutes and a few words to support our men in uniform. God Bless 'em!

Serv.Btry 1/92 Nov. 68 to Nov. 69 I ran the generator repair tent next to the motor pool. It was good to see some name from the past. Dennis Voelker, Chuck Stunkar, Dennis McMaanaman, George Sample and Strikland ( God bless him)I came upon this web sit because A friend is teaching a H.S. course on Viet Nam and I'm a guest speaker. I didn't realize different units had web sits.Doing the class and seeing this web sit has brought back some very old memories. Its good to see so many of us are still going strong today.

I'm trying to locate a Spec 4 Ron Holsinger from C Btry that I served with in 70-71. Ron's last known residence was Mansfield, OH. If anyone knows his wherabouts, it would be most appreciated. He would be either 51 or 52 years old now. He liked to play the guitar a little back then. I've tried every means imagineable in locating him. It's been unsucessful so far. So please do not respond with search engines, phone numbers, as I've tried it all.Thank You John Maguire

Hi friends Just checking in. Hope you all keep your health this coming year. I was with A btry. 10- 69 to 10- 70. So many firebases and years ago. I stayed at Plie Mrong probably the most. But we jumped around the whole central highlands and Cambodia in June 70 as Billy Joel said ; ' we left our childhood on every acre.' I will never forget what a great bunch of guys you all are. God Bless. Joe Leccese 1/92 A btry gun #1

I was infused into the 1/92 Brave Cannons from an Artillery unit in the South. I served with the Red Devils B btry from 3/69 to 9/69. Most all of this time was on Fire Base 6. There is not a day in my life that I don't think of that mountain and the men I served with. It was an honor and a privilige to serve with these great men and to be a cannon cocker in the greatest of all Artillery units. I live in NH and ride in a Veteran and Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club called Nam Knights of America M/C. Our mission is to assist and help our fellow Veterans and their families. We must not and we WILL NOT FORGET. To ALL my fellow Brave Cannons...WELCOME HOME. Raider

Hello Everyone, Well, today is the 35th anniversary from the day I reported to Ft. Lewis, and boarded that jet to cross the pond and join all you guys in Vietnam. It's easy for me to remember because I reported on my 18th birthday and that makes me 53 years old today. I just wanted to thank Bo for the excellent work and effort he did on his book, 'Brave Cannons'. If you have not read it you are really missing out. I've read it three times and each time I find more memories that were lost over the years. It's well worth the price. I also want to thank JD for his time and effort of locating me and letting me know about this site. I also want to extend my prayers for him and his family. Hoping everything is still going good for his wife. Well, gotta go before Bo starts thinking I'm going to be the next to publish a book. Take care and good luck to all !!! Ralph

I have sold out the first printing of the BRAVE CANNONS book. A second order has been placed and should arrive next week. Thank you for all the kind feedback and encouraging words. To my knowledge the 1/92 was the only 155mm battalion in Vietnam to be awarded every unit and individual award for valor that our great country bestows upon its military. We were and still are America's Best.

The ORLL’s are an absolutely great addition to the website. The story of the 1/92 is truly remarkable. For example, it is phenomenal all that was accomplished during report periods from 01Nov68 to 30Apr69. I for one cannot wait to read the next two or three ORLL reporting periods. These reports represent a part of the official, documented history of the unit and provide both a big picture overview and the bits and pieces most of us were not aware of. And I too want to salute everyone who has contributed to the making of the association and this website, to JD and Fred Stella for your ongoing work, to Bo Prehar for ”the book”, as well as to acknowledge the contributions made by Chuck Gall and the vision of David Powell. Thanks guys, you share a precious commodity with all of us, your time.
